Hi, I create a idler game base on your tilemap assets. Here's the game link: https://vanxehus.itch.io/the-foolish.Thank for the awesame tile map assets again

Awesome.

Thanks for sharing it =)
Good luck for your project.

Awesome asset, looks very good !

I recommend you to add "Hex Based" tag

You should add the license into metadata for the asset pack(s):

"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art

Cool
Thanks for letting me know =)
I've uploaded that information, added some tags and uploaded new links. Hope it helps.

Too bad these are too big for Hex Kit. Was trying to find tiles to import to make some small regional maps for a game I plan on writing (and Hex Kit's own tiles are for private use only). These look perfect for my needs, but are bigger than the hex size in that program

Thanks for the kind words. When I did this tile set I was unaware of the Hex Kit. What happened is that my hex rotation is off (when compared to that software).

I actually did a test with a tile - it worked, but it took me too much time... and I lost the motivation to do it because no one seemed to care about this project.

If you're willing to wait a few weeks, I can assemble it. Or let me know if you need any source file or something.

I ended up getting Other World Mapper, and might use some of them in that, though if you still decided to do the Hex Kit usable ones that would be cool (as honestly I find Hex Kit so much easier to use than OWM).

Question: Is it ok to remove the outline for the hexes in the transparent files? Since Other World has hexes, it shows both on the map. Some of your tiles fill a gap the ones that come with the basic version of OWM doesn't have, and I really want to use them. Also, what is the correct name to use for giving credit?

I've created 2 versions of the files:
1) without borders - https://ibb.co/album/7b111C or zip file

2) with Hex Kit frame - https://ibb.co/album/T4mwpg or zip file

The tiles need to be renamed and centered - Maybe in September I'll do it and I'll proper upload it here - but for now just use those links.

Hope it helps.

To give me credit - "cmartins.art" is enough thanks =)

Thanks so much for doing that!

This is making me ponder how "CC No Derivatives" lines up with "This is a set of images to build other things out of". :)

Hmmm great question... what I meant by "build other things" is that you can create your own maps and other images by combining the existing tiles as long as you don't change the art of original hexes (and that's where the "no derivatives" comes in).

I considered each tile as individual images... so, if you assemble the hexes you're not creating modifications (at least that was what I was aiming) but let me know if that's not the proper CC.

If you have any further question, let me know. Hope I made it clear.

With “ND” I think that no one can distribuite a work with your art.

“The licensor permits others to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work, but not distribute derivative works based on it.”

Any work that use your tileset is a derivative work.

Right... Not what I had in mind, but I'll change it ASAP. Thanks

EDIT: done (CC BY-SA 4.0 now)

The PDF still contains the old license.

damn... you're right x_x
thanks for pointing that out.
I'll change it as soon as soon as possible

Thanks. Means a lot coming from you. Love your assets, btw ;)

This is fantastic, I've been making random generators in perchance.org, and will definitely try to make something out of these assets (with credit, of course).

Glad you like it =)
Cool idea. Feel free to share the link here. I would love to see your project.
