A few days ago, I did some sculptures for my son and his die-cast cars. "Weeee, garages"!

I kinda liked the project and I took some photos of it. I thought it might be interesting to use them later (maybe for a TTRPG or a post-apocalyptic wargame like Gaslands).

Anyway, before my "Do it later" list turns into a "Never done" list, I decided to share the whole thing and let others use it as well.

Let me know if you liked the idea, or if it was just a waste of time uploading it here.

It's just Kit-bashing from trash (and photo adjustments with Raw Therapee)

An adventure jam where the only rule was to use x number of these photos would be wicked. Ex: 5 room dungeons using 5 photos.

uuuh that would be awesome!
I love the idea - Feel free to try that approach.
I hosted a jam recently and I only got 3 submissions xD

What a fantastic project idea! In a time when Blender is probably the go-to freeware for modeling scenes, your kitbashing assemblage is a terrific creative alternative. Great job on painting and lighting. It's interesting to study the angles to recognize the components. I wonder if a greenscreen background might help users with post-processing if you offer future projects like this. Even so, good stuff here!

Thank you for the kind words.
Recognizing the trash-elements is my favorite part.
The greenscreen is a great tip - I'll consider it next time for sure. I didn't thought about it and you're right - it would be useful for post-processing.
