Are you familiar with John Aegard's method - "Dragonslaying on a Timetable: Running Tight 4-Hour Dungeon World One-Shots With Zero Preparation"?  

I've used it and find it quite helpful. In fact, I drew inspiration from his point on maps to create my own mapping tool. I also took the opportunity to share it in the Tabletop Game Tool Jam. 

This is nothing more than a set of questions to make your 'one-shots' more engaging. If you have cool suggestions (such as questions that enhance the narrative), please share them with the community in the comments section.
